Frequently asked questions
What's the best time to go?
■ Day — Best light for portraits, and fewer passengers than at sunset or night, so the tour feels relaxed.
■ Sunset — Our most popular tour, moody and romantic; we recommend booking 1 – 2 weeks ahead.
■ Night — Enjoy the Gwangan Bridge and Marine City night views and a cool sea breeze, with a group fireworks session to music. (No fireworks in the rain)
What time is sunset?
Sunset time changes with the season. Search online for the sunset time in Haeundae-gu, Busan on your date.
You can enjoy the sunset from about 30 – 40 minutes before to after that time, and the most beautiful moment is about 20 – 30 minutes after sunset.
Can we still go if it rains?
We sail as normal in ordinary rain. The yacht has an indoor area, and raincoats are provided free of charge.
If we cannot sail due to heavy rain or a high-wave advisory, we will let you know in advance and help you change the date or give you a 100% refund. If you wish to cancel just because of rain or personal reasons, the refund policy applies.
Can I book on the day or buy tickets on site?
If seats are available, you can buy tickets on the day and on site.
However, bookings are taken in real time and may sell out early, so we recommend booking in advance.
Will I get seasick?
Our catamaran yachts rock very little, so seasickness is less common than on other yachts, but it can still happen depending on the weather and the person.
Under the revised Pharmaceutical Affairs Act we cannot provide motion-sickness medicine, so please bring your own or take it before you come.
What if I'm late because of traffic?
Yacht tours run 100% by advance booking, so if you miss the departure time we generally cannot refund, change or hold your booking. Traffic around Haeundae can be heavy, so please leave plenty of time.
For private tours, a late arrival only delays the start — the end time stays the same.
You may also be refused boarding without ID. (A copy or mobile ID is accepted)
Can I bring my pet?
Small dogs may board if they are in a carrier.
On private tours, pets are welcome, but a leash and responsible control by the owner are required.
Can pregnant or elderly guests come on board?
We sail slowly in nearby waters in stable weather, so pregnant women, elderly guests, young children and people with disabilities can all ride with peace of mind.
For safety reasons, wheelchairs and strollers cannot be taken on board and must be left at the pier.
Can I bring food from outside?
On the public (yacht) tour, no food other than drinks may be brought on board. On private tours, drinks and food are allowed. (Light finger food is fine, but strong-smelling food such as soups, raw fish or gimbap, and glass bottles are not allowed)
Water, soft drinks, non-alcoholic beer and snacks are provided free on board.
Can I drink alcohol?
For safety reasons we do not sell or serve alcohol. Alcohol you bring yourself is allowed only as canned beer (no bottles) or poured into cups. On private tours, beer or wine (excluding tinted bottles) can be brought and enjoyed a little more freely.
※ If excessive drinking makes it hard to continue, the tour may be stopped, and no refund will be given.
Can we go fishing?
Fishing is not available on the public tour.
On private tours of 2 hours or more, you can try fishing. (Please ask in advance)
Can children, pregnant women or elderly guests ride?
[Day] For safety reasons, infants under 24 months cannot board. Children must sit in the Safety Zone with a guardian.
[Night] Infants under 24 months can also board free of charge. However, infants under 24 months and children must sit in the Safety Zone with a guardian.
[Pregnant women · elderly] They may board, but for safety all responsibility lies with the passenger. For a safer, more comfortable ride, we recommend the yacht tour.
Can we still go if it rains?
For safety, boat tours do not run in the rain, we will notify you in advance and help you reschedule or get a full refund. (Same for day and night)
Will I get seasick?
[Day] If you usually get motion sickness, please bring medicine with you. Under the revised Pharmaceutical Affairs Act we cannot provide motion-sickness medicine on site.
[Night] Because the boat moves fast, seasickness is less common than on regular yacht tours or fishing boats. Still, if you tend to get motion sickness, we recommend taking medicine beforehand.
What if I'm late because of traffic?
Tours run 100% by booking, and if you are late, refunds and time changes are difficult.
Please be sure to arrive at the ticket office at least 30 minutes before boarding to collect your ticket! (Same for day and night)
Can I bring my pet?
Pets are not allowed on the boat. (Same for day and night)
Can I bring outside food?
Because the boat travels fast, food and alcohol are not allowed for safety. (Same for day and night)
